Cowhide Race Gloves — Brown
Cowhide leather race gloves with reinforced knuckle protection and a durable, broken-in feel.
Premium 1.2–1.4 mm full-grain cowhide jackets, suits and gloves — durable, protective, and built to last a decade.

Cowhide has protected riders for over a century, and for good reason — it is tough, thick, abrasion-resistant and ages beautifully. Every non-kangaroo build in the range uses full-grain cowhide at 1.2–1.4 mm. It is the leather most riders should be wearing: durable enough for daily commuting and confident enough for the occasional track day.

For most riders, a cowhide motorcycle jacket is exactly the right choice. Full-grain cowhide at 1.2–1.4 mm delivers CE-certified abrasion resistance, absorbs impact energy and lasts a decade or more with basic conditioning. Compared to a kangaroo build, cowhide is heavier but tougher against everyday scuffs, more affordable and easier to repair. Every jacket is cut from hand-selected full-grain panels — never corrected or bonded leather.
The cowhide leather range also covers one piece and 2 piece motorcycle suits, race gloves and touring gloves — all custom-patterned, all with CE armor, all with bonded nylon safety stitching. Cowhide can be combined with kangaroo at high-abrasion zones for a hybrid build if the rider wants the best of both hides. Send measurements and preferences through the form below to start a quote.
Full-grain cowhide at 1.2–1.4 mm across every jacket, suit and glove — the standard thickness for CE-certified abrasion resistance without excessive weight.
Cowhide is heavier but tougher against everyday scuffs and more affordable. Kangaroo is lighter and slightly more abrasion-resistant per millimetre, but costs more. For most street and track riders, cowhide is the right call.
Wipe down after every ride, condition every 3–6 months with a pH-neutral leather conditioner, and store on a wide hanger away from direct sunlight and heat. Never machine wash.
